Grace and Peace be unto you from God our Father. This serves as the churches official public statement from the Office of the Bishop, Restoration Temple International Fellowship of churches and the Diocese of Christ The Restorer.

 

Be advised that effective immediately, Rev. Shelby Belfield is no longer a member of, affiliated with, authorized by, recognized by or connected in any way official or otherwise with Restoration Temple, The Fellowship of Churches nor the Diocese of Christ the Restorer, its leadership, ministry affiliations, auxiliaries, or any organization operating under our covering.

 

Mrs. Belfield is hereby directed to immediately cease and desist from using, displaying, publishing, distributing, reproducing, representing or associating herself with any name, title, logo, seal, emblem, credential, document, trademark, intellectual property, ministry affiliation or any other identifying material belonging to or connected to this ministry.

 

Let it be clearly understood that Mrs. Belfield has no authority to represent, speak on behalf of, conduct business for, solicit support for, collect funds for, minister under the authority of, or otherwise act in any capacity on behalf of Restoration Temple and its subsidiaries.

 

Let is be known, should Rev. Shelby Belfield continue to use, reproduce, or present to the public in any way affiliation with Restoration Temple, legal action will be taken. Restoration Temple and the office of the Bishop will exercise any and all rights and remedies available under the Law, including BUT NOT limited to cease-and-desist actions, civil litigation, injunctive relief, monetary damages, court costs, attorney fees where applicable, and any other remedies available to protect and defend the Fellowship and its affiliates.

 

This announcement serves as official notification that the membership with Restoration Temple has been terminated, effective immediately as of the executive board vote on June 18, 2026.

 

The Board took this action following a formal review of recent events involving actions threatening the safety of the congregation and leadership a severe breach of the church covenant, and subsequent confessions to allegations brought to the board. According to Article 4 of our church bylaws, conduct of this nature provides for the immediate removal of a member. However a path to restoration was provided with specific timelines and requirements where were not adhered to. As a result, Shelby Belfield no longer holds the rights, privileges, or responsibilities of a member, nor Pastor. Clergy Credentials are hereby revoked and the covering of this house removed. Please note that this decision also includes a restriction from attending public services or entering church property.

Our decision was not made lightly our deepest hope remains for true spiritual healing to take place in the life of Mrs. Belfield.

 

Let this stand as notice for all members, leaders, clergy, churches, ministries and affiliated organizations to govern accordingly and to recognize that Mrs. Belfield does not represent this Fellowship in any capacity.

 

Please be advised this Public declaration is made in the interest of maintaining integrity, order, protection and reputation of Restoration Temple, The Fellowship, the Dioceses and affiliated churches and organizations.
